1st Snow of the Season

This was our first snow day of the season. the kids didn't have to go to school so we played outside.

We made a tiny little snowman.

My cute little snow bunny!!

Just looking cute before we went out.

New Years Eve

We had a super fun New Years Eve party with about 20 of our closest friends.
Misti, Meisha, Missi and Melissa (Now that's a lot of M's)
We also celebrated my 30th birthday since we were already together.

This is the awesome dessert I made. It is called a croquembrouche. It's a French dessert made out of puff pastries.

Me and my friend Missi.

Me and my wonderful hubby!!

Keeton's Girl Scout Investiture

Keeton is a Daisey Scout now. She is in a friend's troop that just started up. She is loving every minute of it. This was their Investiture ceremony where they got their Daisey pins. We are going to go to the girl scout camp together in March. We are both excited!

Adding her petal to their troop flag.

Christmas Morning 2010

We had a wonderful Christmas at home this year. We did get to see family though. We traveled to Oklahoma the week before to spend time with my family and Grandma and Grandpa Hendren came down and spent Christmas with us.

Every time we saw Santa Keeton asked for the same thing. GoGo My Walking Pup.

She was very excited about her karaoke machine though. I think it has gotten the most play too.

Of course Carter's favorite was his laptop.

Waiting to open his presents.

Posing cute together by the tree.

Santa came to see us!!!!

ICE at the Gaylord Texan

I have been wanting to go to this event for the past 5 years and finally got to go. This is ICE at the Gaylord Texan Resort. It was really cool. And I mean that. They keep it between 12 and 19 degrees in there.
A sled in the resort before we got to the ICE event.
Inside ICE. Carter(right) and his friend Kade in the ice tunnel.

They gave us these blue parkas to wear to keep us warm.

This years theme was Charlie Brown.

Does she look excited or what?

Waiting in line to get inside. We waited well over an hour. Good thing it was worth it.

Annual Gingerbread house

This will be our last year to make one gingerbread house for the family. Next year we will have to make 2. Keeton and Carter can no longer agree on how to decorate.
They did end up happy though.
The finished product.

Working hard.

Christmas Eve

Daddy always reads "The Night Before Christmas".
In front of the tree.

Putting out the sugar cookies we made for Santa.

Christmas Festival

Yes, this was a Christmas festival. It was in November, but Carter still had Halloween on the brain.

Keeton was a reindeer. She was ready for Christmas!!

Halloween 2010

Fun Halloween activities.
Carter is very proud of his jack-o-lantern.
Keeton and her jack-o-lantern.

They look really cool at night.

My little witch!! She is a "pretty" with though, not a "scary" one.

Mr. Pro football player.

I guess I know where Carter gets it from.

I was Astrid from How To Train Your Dragon.

Star Students

Both kids were Star students the same week in October. Here are a few pictures.
