Chongo's Bridal Shower

I got to go to Oklahoma this past weekend for Chongo's bridal shower. It was so much fun!! I am one of her 10 bridesmaids. Yes, I said TEN!!! I was in charge of the games and I think they turned out great!!
Look at that beautiful bride to be.

Opening her gifts.

One of the games I planned was to make wedding dresses out of toilet paper. So fun!!

Oklahoma Trip in Pictures

As most of you can tell, I don't really write much. I really just like to post some pictures and put a few captions. So, here is our trip to Grandma and Grandpa's house in Oklahoma with pictures.

Fishing at the creek.
Roasting hot dogs at the creek. Grandma made a great fire!!!

Carter absolutely LOVES to go fishing. He is after daddy and Grandpa's hearts.

This was Keeton's first time to really get into fishing. As you can tell from the picture she really enjoyed herself this time. She was the first one to catch a fish and she was so excited! She wanted to keep ALL of the fish, even this one that is as small as a goldfish.

We went to the Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks with Grandma. It was so much fun!! We got to pet sting rays, sharks, and a few other small things in the touch tanks. Here we are with a sting ray.

We made homemade pizza and it was really good!!

See that yummyness!! They were so proud.

We were busy, busy and Keeton caught a few cat naps in the car.

We did lots of swimming in the pool.

We made Father's Day cards, and huge messes!!

We went to the Tulsa zoo.

The tortoises were pretty cool.
We all had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa!! Thank you so much for letting us invade your house for the week!!! We LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

Carter's Last Day of Kindergarten

Well, Carter is no longer a kindergartner. Yesterday was his last day of school. Keeton and I went to the school on Wednesday for their class party and again yesterday for their celebration of learning. Carter had the most amazing teacher this year!! We all loved Mrs. Anderson and will be sad not to have her any more, but Carter is excited for 1st grade. Carter's favorite part of kindergarten was "writer's workshop, because I get to write and draw whatever I want." We are so proud of him. He has learned so much this past year. He loves to read and write, do math and learn science. He was i the highest reading group in his class and he probably knows more about frogs than any of you care to know. Here are a few pictures from his last 2 days.

Keeton Turns 4

Well, my baby girl is growing up. Keeton had her 4th birthday party this weekend. Yes, that would be right after the dance recital. She had a Strawberry Shortcake party this year. We had a house full of friends and family and had a blast.

Now if you know me, I LOVE the cakes I get from my favorite bakery and this one turned out just as cute as always.
Ok, so I never thought my little girl would already be getting flowers from a boy!! CJ from her preschool brought her flowers along with the gift he brought her. His mom told me that as soon as he got the invitation to the party he told her he wanted to get Keeton flowers. Isn't that the sweetest thing you have ever heard? Oh, and she LOVED it!!

Who do you think is more excited for the Fancy Nancy Tutu? Keeton or me?

Keeton got so excited for the lays and grass skirt that her Great Grandma Lola got her.

I just wanted to say a giant "THANK YOU" to Steph and Angela. Keeton had her dance recital right before her party and these girls helped me with the food, picked up the balloons and picked up the cake for me. I have the best gals around and I am very thankful.

Another Season Under the Belt

Carter played his last baseball game of the season on Friday. This was his 3rd season to play and he still likes it. He is actually getting pretty good for a just barely 6 year old. Here he is with Coach Grady getting his trophy.

The whole team. Carter is right in front of Bruce(in the light blue shirt)

My Little Dancer

Keeton had her 1st dance recital on Saturday. She is definitely ALL girl and loves everything to do with getting dolled up and dancing. Of course we got to do all the makeup which Keeton LOVES!!!

Carter's 6th Birthday

We had Carter's birthday party on Saturday. We had so much fun with a house FULL of kids.
Playing pin the fly on the frog tongue.
Opening presents.

Carter wanted cupcakes this year instead of a cake so I made a cookie cake so we could put candles in it.

Here are the frog cupcakes we made to go along with his jungle frog themed party. I think they turned out pretty good.
